Grand Forks Grain provides tolling services for customers who need reliable grain and seed processing support. Our capabilities include mustard deheating, oat groat stabilization, organic barley cleaning, and other custom processing solutions tailored to product specifications, packaging needs, and market requirements.
Mustard de-heating is a process used to reduce the sharp heat, bite, or pungency naturally found in mustard seed. The result is a milder ingredient that can be easier to incorporate into food, seasoning, pet food, or specialty applications where flavor control, consistency, or customer-specific functionality is important.
Oat groat stabilization uses controlled heat processing to help inactivate natural enzymes in raw oat groats that can contribute to rancidity and quality loss over time. The result is a more stable oat ingredient with improved shelf life, better freshness retention, and greater reliability for food, pet food, and wellness-focused products.
Organic barley cleaning helps remove unwanted material and improve grain consistency while supporting organic ingredient programs. From intake to finished product, Grand Forks Grain works carefully to support food, pet food, livestock, organic, and wellness-focused ingredient programs with dependable processing, documentation, and responsive service. Grand Forks Grain is USDA Organic Certified
